This sleek warship first seen in the Star Trek First Contact was painted then weathered with pastel chocks using the best CGI images available of the Akira and then detailed with decals by Thomas Models. The paint and decals were then sprayed over with a flat enamel clear coat to protect it from accidental scrapes or scratches. This replica comes with a custom brass rod stand mounted in a black base. (Weathering is a slight darkening or dusting of the hull to replicate Battle damage or long usage of the ship.) At 11" in 1/1400 scale it will be in scale with future replicas like: Steamrunner, Saber, Future Enterprise-D, Olympic and Norway Class Ships.
